Characteristic properties
It is a 2K Transparent Acrylic sealer with excellent adhesion properties over non-sanded areas hence eliminating the requirements for sanding.
This Versatile can be used as:
- Adhesion promoter over non-sanded finishes.
- Non-sanding (wet on wet) sealer.
- Flattable isolator over sanded areas.

Suitable substrate and surface preparation
- 4M 2K Sealer can be applied over OEM finishes, Existing 2k paints, primers, fillers.
Areas which are liable to damage such as wheel arches, leading edges or sills benefits from additional adhesion if previous properly flatted.
- When 4M 2K sealer is used as an isolator, the surface needs to properly sanded prior to applying topcoats.

Spraying conditions
General notes
Sanding
4M 2K Sealer doesn’t require sanding. However, if left more than 24 Hrs. it must be flatted before overcoating.
Tinting
Can be tinted with 2K acrylic paint up to 10% by volume, after tinting add hardener and thinner in normal manner.
Other tips
- Do not apply over synthetic or nitrocellulose primers and fillers.
- For optimum application ensure that both spray booth temperature and paint temperature
are between 20°C and 25°C.
- Clean the spray gun thoroughly immediately after the use of 2K products.
